Contraluz Mezcal Añejo Cristalino is sourced by mezcalero Don Carlos León Monterrubio from producers in the Tlacolula de Matamoros region of Oaxaca. Don Carlos transforms the joven agave Espadin mezcal into an añejo cristalino. The mezcal is aged for more than 12 months in American oak barrels and then filtered.

34 reviewsdifficult to find (unfortunately) but man, is this stuff good. it’s quite mild compared to most mezcals, and it is short on ABV (35%) but my god it drinks very, very well. I love it.
