Agaves Tepeztate and Tobala always make an interesting ensamble. I can’t help but compare this to Mezcalero #13 which is the same (perhaps different ratios though). There are notes of raisins, sugar cane, and cinnamon. The agave Tepeztate is prominent but not aggressive. Overall this mezcal is a bit light on the palate and the ABV of 44% reflects that as well.
