Legendario Domingo Cupreata is made with wild agave Cupreata in Apango, Guerrero. It’s made by the Alcaraz Family. It has aromas of cedar, green pepper, cloves and tobacco. On the palate, there’s green flavors and pleasant smokey notes.

Legendario Domingo appears in the middle of festivity, color and celebrations of each of its places of origin. The Sundays (domingos) that are lived in a different way, as an opportunity for celebrating traditions, festivities and mixing reality with fantasy. The joy of each region makes an ordinary Sunday into a Legendary Sunday (Legendario Domingo).

155 reviewsthis mabey a slightly above average mezcal. have had worse and better.i am a huge cupreata fan and this bottle has those qualities.strong spearmint and good smoke on the tongue.i like some heat on a pour but this one was harsh(even for me).some vanilla pudding on the finish. i agree with rakhal.would rate it higher without the alcohol note.its possible that it will mellow with time. could be more enjoyable if its not the evenings first pour.

Nose – Serrano peppers cut in quarters and oven roasted. Icing sugar.
Palate – Hot at first but nice. It settled down and I got a great sugary, viscous coating. More raw serrano flavor without the lasting spiciness. Finish remains warm, sweet and tasty. Smoke is balanced well.
NOTE: This bottle I have is 47% ABV, Legendario Domingo may have lower this recently from older batches of 50% ABV.
