Hard to rate this lower than 4 stars given the price. Interesting and strong flavors—apricot, lime, mint and black pepper. Nice mouthfeel and decent finish. And half the price of most other pechugas.
Fresh jalapeños with some cheesiness. Very easy to drink. Great value
I get cloves, cinnamon, earth, and a bit of mint. Nice mouthfeel, easy drinking with a clean finish.
I get al pastor tacos, mint, and earth. A little hot but nice mouthfeel.
Update: Tried again another month or two later. Very good—great aromas as above but finish just too hot.
Fairly harsh gasoline/motor oil nose upfront, but that recedes over time and a complex earthiness and smokiness emerges with faint spearmint, fruit candy, and floral notes. Makes you work for it, but now I can’t stop smelling my (empty) glass. Enjoyable on the palate with a nice medium length finish, not unpleasantly hot.
Addendum: really mellows out. Lots of fruit candy, especially banana candy. Mint. Much less hot. Very very good.
Lot E-16-E-20.
Banana candy, graham crackers, baking spices. Nice oily mouthfeel with long pleasant finish. Light smoke. Not incredibly complex but very drinkable/enjoyable and unbeatable value.
One of the worst finishes, long and oily. Tolerable up front so 2/5
White chocolate with cinnamon/baking spices on the nose. Olives/brine on the palate. Good holiday spirit. Long finish which is not the best.
Incredibly special. Started off very floral and perfum-y, then settled and exhibited those saline, candy, citrus characters. Totally agree with skittles and lemon-lime gatorade. One of the most complex and interesting spirits I’ve ever tasted.
2nd review. Remains a favorite. Banana and citrus candy, dirt and flowers
