My favorite mezcal for cocktails or something to sip on that’s light. I don’t have a problem with it being 42% and love that style they do in Ejutla. light smoke, banana, pineapple, vegetal.
A great mezcal for new mezcal drinkers. Nice and light, delicate, fruity, cut grass and light smoke. Oaxacan and family owned 4th generation mezcalero, Javi Mateo makes some great mezcal.
best reposado on the market IMO. Notes of carmelized banana, smoke and vanilla/oak. Great to sip or in an old fashioned and a steal around $45-50
By far my favorite pechuga so far. A lighter, fruity pechuga with turkey breast, pineapple, guava, plantain, etc. this pechuga is a steal for the price.
Not my favorite well mezcal. A little overpriced and pretty generic tasting. I definitely prefer mezcal out of Ejutla vs Matatlan.
