Okay, sure, yes, absolutely — I love these guys because they came to me and said, “Hey, we want to bake into our identity the idea that we support communities, so … what projects can we fund?” They decided to underwrite entirely the cost of a rain-collection system tied to a hygiene station in Zaachila, Oaxaca, that is organized by SiKanda. So I love them.

But I also love their mezcal. It’s a great, neat sipper with all those delicious fruit notes. And I’m told it works well in a cocktail, but once I pour it into the glass, I always forget the rest of the recipe and just start drinking.
