Nose: mango, papaya, tropical notes mixed with a nice minerality, guava cream cheese, rotten banana peel, complex and ever changing as previously mention
Palate: flint, slate, sweet pineapple, funky overripe fruit, vanilla, lime peel, waxy
Finish: fruity almost manzanilla sherry, ash
Charred corn and faint pipe tobacco
Batch RME-10 2018
Nose: clay and sweet cooked agave, jalapeno, sugarcane, vanilla, bourbonPalate: creamy sweet into tingly prickly agave notes, vanilla, and chili pepper
Finish: juicy tropical fruits, citrus zest, tingly effervence kinda carries from the palate, light clay notes follow all the way through.
Overall not crazy complex but super well balanced and integrated experience. Could crush this bottle.
Lot A 7 M 20
Nose: nice undertone of sweet fruits, with an upper end of citrus rinds and some salinity, bright green notes, and weird but like almost broken in catchers mitt kinda leathery notes.Palate: nice prickly sweet agave note up front, some waxiness, sour tropica fruit notes followed by maybe smoky pear almost?
Finish: nice and mellow peppery tingle black pepper and a little chile with some very subtle smoke that builds upon itself , little but of a kind of earthy industrial note in their too welcome light funk nothing off putting. Finish wins me over on this. Great stuff.
Lot apaj003
Nose: lactose in the best way, like a cheese cake with berries, some citrus blended in there, buttery
Palate: soft, subtle citrus rind, agave, butter
Finish: butter transitions to the finish, with some tingly spice, very little smoke, and a more bitter lime peel note
Not overly complex but a fantastic bottle for cocktails or an intro to mezcal for those who only associate the spirit with smoke.
Lot 40 97.02 proof

Finish: switches into pleasant smoke, lingering notes from the palate but brought down into the earthen range which gives it some nice depth. Great bottle! Shoutout to zacks channel for the recommendation
