I had great expectations and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent mezcal.
Pretty spectacular nose: oregano, thyme, sage, calamint, lemon zest, cotton candy. Great mouthfeel, creamy, warm, smooth, spicy, incredibly smooth, hard to believe it’s 52.4 %.
Without a doubt, one of the best expressions of mezcales. Love it.

LOT A-01-M-16 /Batch size 652 L/ Jan 2016. This mezcal is average on the nose and big on the palate. It’s creamy and SMOOTH, so smooth you just can’t believe it’s 52.1 % alcohol. It tickles your taste buds in a way that makes you want more and more. Great mezcal.

LOT E-04-C-17 / 51.1% Batch size 170 L. February 2017
This is a solid mezcal. Big fruity nose, melon, lots of melon, cantaloupe, honeydew and banana, overripe banana. On the palate the fruit flavors evolve and it gets spicy and vegetal. The finish is long and dry, bone dry. 4.25

June 2018 – BCEL – 002 – 49.35%
This is the Best mezcal I have ever tasted. The nose is impressive, I could spend hours sitting on a couch sniffing it. On the palate is beautifully sweet and the finish…oh, it lasts forever. Bought 2 bottles and regret I didn’t buy a third one while was still available. Superb.
