Mezcalista Fabiola has created a masterpiece here. This mezcal tastes like a desert evening, just after sunset. It’s smooth, almost creamy, definitely vegetal, with a touch of citrus and maybe passionfruit that lingers like the warm rays of sun at twilight. Smoky: yes, but in that distant campfire sort of way, a nostalgic smoke the is present and yet not overwhelming. So far, this is my favorite mezcal by far.
