Frankly this is a the very first Mezcal I have ever tried. I am actually a whisky taste note specialist and really didn’t know what to expect here. I was pleasantly surprised by the layers of sweetness on the nose which included distinct cantaloupe and papaya, cream soda and juicy fruit gum and gin and tonic notes with a twist of lime. On the taste, earthy with a creamy mouth feel with a very brief tartness; almost spent mint gum and unbuttered popcorn. On the finish, fall leaves, tobacco, hobby cow leather and crème du menthe parfait. The tropical fruit aftertaste lasted to infinity. Quite delightful.
