Very clean, no smoke. Don’t go into this one expecting anything like any traditional mezcal or even aged tequila, much more like a Spanish style aged rum, warm, rich, and spicy but still light, with some subtle bright fruit notes. I know this one gets panned by most but I found it really pleasant, but then again I also love rum.
