Santa Pedrera Mezcal has aromas of ash, and flavors of tropical fruit, and a creamy mouthfeel. A hint of salinity and spice rounds out the finish.
About this mezcal
Santa Pedrera Mezcal is made with agave Espadin in San Agustín Amatengo, Oaxaca. Mezcalero Carino Ramirez cooks the agave in an underground pit oven, mills the agave via a horse-drawn tahona, ferments the agave using air-borne yeasts, and double distills this mezcal in a copper pot still to 46% ABV.
Santa Pedrera Mezcal
Santa Pedrera Mezcal markets themselves as “more than mezcal,” and that they are “The Sadness Breaker.” They have a mezcal made with agave Espadin that is produced by Espiritu Corsa, which also produces the brand Espíritu Lauro.

1 reviewA very nice mezcal you get a tropical fruit flavor the finish is clean, sweet and grassy with a lot of lovely smokiness that you constantly get wifts of when sipping. Highly recommend this as it brings back many found memories of Mexico.

625 reviewsVery straightforward cheap Espadin. Dry sugar, agave, alcohol. Bit reminiscent of white rum. Not terrible, probably fine in cocktails. 46%, Lote: 030-SP/2019.
