424 reviewsI would have guessed it was clay pot distilled because it tastes so earthy. Like raw clay! It’s also musty and fruity like an old pack of starburst candy that you found in the attic. It’s really soft and nice. Some musty vanilla on the finish too with drying tobacco leaf. Nice.

Faint nose with aromas of white glue and underripe melon rind. Flavor is light, very mineral-forward like warm mineral water. Light on the palate with a touch of sweetness and a clean finish. Good for your friends who aren’t into very smoky mezcal and I think this would make a delicious mezcal negroni cocktail.

542 reviewsNose – Next level earthiness – saturated rain forest soil. I’d say two handfuls but this is almost a slurry. Red licorice and black licorice.
Palate – Black licorice – oddly, like a creamy Sambuca. It’s good! Heat builds and builds and peaks in the finish. A complex, muddy aftertaste of tobacco, cloves and icing sugar.
