Not as sweet as Ensamble 1. Aroma is mineral and slight funk. Taste is a sour cream, touch of sweet and spice like cinnamon and pepper. Smoke is at the level of one of those incense style punks the hand out at fireworks stands.
It’s a long ride. Aroma is candied unripe pears while standing across the yard from a small campfire. Taste is wild, first it is very sweet with good smoke then dusty river rocks, last comes a very juicy, fruity roundness that lingers for quite awhile, fading back to the river rocks. So glad my wife signed me up for this club!!
Batch RAI-JUL-001. Aroma of dried dates and raisins. Palette is back of tongue sweetness and thick cream that is just a touch sour. The dates and raisins come in on the finish with some minerality.
Batch September 2019 – Mouth numbing pepper, mid level smokiness and great quality corn tortillas. Would like to have another bottle of this one.
