I first tried Legendario Domingo’s Espadin (from Oaxaca) and thought it was a good mezcal but I reminded me of some other espadins, of course. Then I had the Ensamble from Michoacán and I felt like that one was really well balanced. That one got me interested in learning more about Legendario’s product range.

I met Julian, the brands founder at an event in Cabo and he suggested I tried the Cenizo which is from Durango. When I came home I ordered a bottle and I found it to be a really special distill, quite unlike anything else I had tried.

I´m still halfway with this first bottle but would like to extend my review once I have finished it and I have put together a coulpe of friends comments.

So far, so good. I can already tell this one is a keeper as I would try to have a Cenizo bottle at hand everytime I sit down to have mezcal! Congrats on the Durango edition.
