An approachable mezcal with mild, surprisingly delicate flavors. A clean, floral expression of Espadin.

Nose: Floral nose, citrus blosson or lilac. Perfumed vanilla frosting with a little petrol.
Palate: Warm, bright sweetness, creme brulee and vanilla with a touch of green cedar.
Finish: Black pepper and with citrus rind with the smallest hint of smoke.

Nose is a mix of fruit and gas. Lightly sweet and a little creamy on the palate with a good amount of smoke. The smoke lingers on finish with a light metallic tang. Fairly straightforward, nothing too complex here, but if you ‘re searching for smoke you wont be left disappointed. Approachable, affordable and beginner friendly. Great for cocktails.

High marks for value here- this is not the best mezcal but a solid offering at < $40. I keep a few bottles around to avoid dipping into the more expensive ones. Good enough to sip and affordable enough to mix.
