About this raicilla
Escarabajos Raicilla de la Sierra is made with wild Agave maximiliana, under a sustainable selection of mature plants from two different mountainous areas. The agaves are baked with oak for 3 days in a semi-buried masonry oven. The cooked agave are then fermented with wild mountain yeasts, and then double distilled in copper and steel stills.
Escarabajos Raicilla de la Sierra, is created in the Mosco mountains in Mascota, Jalisco by master distiller Francisco Córdova. It delivers a robust herbaceous background, framed by a delicate and sweet smoke, highlighting its deep citrus and floral notes. It is produced and packaged by MCP SPIRITS.
