Gusto Historico Barreno from maestra mezcalera Natalia Sanchez was produced in the community of Miahuatlan, Oaxaca. The agaves are cooked in an underground pit oven, milled by tahona, fermented with wild yeasts and single distilled in a copper refrescadera still. Maestra Natalia is also known as Tia Tilde and she is the matriarch of one of mezcals greatest families that includes her husband Victor Ramos and her son, Emanuel Ramos.
