About this mezcal
Mala Mia Espadin is made with maguey Espadin (Agave angustifolia) in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. Third generation Maestro Mezcalero, Saturnino Martínez Méndez, crushes his agaves by horse-drawn tahona, ferments them in pine tinas, and double distills in copper stills.
