Mesh & Bone
Mesh & Bone launched in Tokyo and came to the Chicago area in summer 2016. They specialize in unique spirits from around the world. In addition to their sotol, they sell a pear cider, or cidre, from France and a Japanese spirit similar to vodka called shochu among others. The company has a minimalist approach to marketing, social media, and even the bottle labels which list only what is required by federal law.

16 reviews38%. No lot number listed anywhere on the bottle. Smells like nothing. It literally smells like nothing. There no aromas. The palate is also almost nothing. There is no trace of flavor on the palate. This tastes like nothing. Bland. Tastes like zero. Nothing. Nothing at all.

1 reviewI’m partial to mellow Mezcal. Mesh and Bone’s Sotol is super smooth with just the right amount of bite and smokiness. Fine sub for tequila in margaritas, but I’m partial to sipping it straight.

1 reviewReally enjoyed this sotol. Definitely a high quality product. I would describe it as perfectly light and refreshing. Much smoother than the best tequila’s I’ve had. I personally love mixing this with tonic, large ice cube, and a hit of lime.
This particular sotol is my go to and is now a staple on my bar. I highly recommend it.

1 reviewMesh & Bone Sotol is by far the best tasting Sotol I have ever tasted. I’ve tried a couple of other brands on the market, but they all tasted absolutely horrible. I had all but given up on Sotol completely until I discovered Mesh & Bone.
I find the taste a little similar to tequila. It has a wonderful nose, slightly sweet taste and almost no burn. It’s fantastic for sipping with just a squeeze of lime.
I can’t recommend it enough! Well done Mesh & Bone.
