About this mezcal
Ven A Mi Reposado is made with agave Espadin in Santiago Matatlan. Mezcalero Guillermo Abad cooks his agave in a traditional stone horno and double distills this mezcal in a copper still. Guillermo uses spring water to bring his mezcal down to 38% ABV. After distillation, this mezcal is aged in oak barrels for seven months.

Ven A Mi Mezcal is the export of the Mezcal Milagrito del Corazón brand from the Mezcales Milagrito restaurant and spirits group that’s based in Mexico City. Their goal is to preserve the Mexican traditions that include hundreds of years of distilling and bottling. Their focus on mezcal and culture began in 2005 and continues through their various upscale eateries and mezcal brands.

19 reviewssmell is very subtle, notes of citrus and agave. taste is very smooth and crisp with mild notes of agave and pepper. aftertaste is not as pleasant as most mezcals, seemingly harsh but with a typical smokiness.
