Old-style bottle so the lot predates 2020 but the lot no. is illegible. Clear. Creosote, orange and almond on the nose. Light-medium body. Rough edges that don’t mellow out. Initially citrus moving to pine and creosote with smokey heat on the lingering finish.

Great in a Monte y Mezcal a/k/a M&M, made with 1 part Amaro Montenegro and 1 part mezcal.

Lot SLR008/18, Bottle 572/1419. Clear. Pine and faint sweetness on the nose. Light-medium body, rough edges at first evolving to become rounded and more balanced as it opens. Notes of mango and smoke with heat throughout. Medium finish.

Batch WHK-030. Clear. Pine and petrichor on the nose. Medium body, smooth, well-rounded. Notes of pine, strawberry and smoke. Long finish.
