Lechuguilla

Agave lechuguilla is the scientific name for what is commonly known locally as Maguey lechuguilla, churique, or univittata. The name means “big lettuce” and is a species found only in the Chihuahuan Desert. While lechuguilla is an agave, some brands colloquially use this name to refer to different types of plants and distillates as well.
