DeSolas is a light and fresh tasting, low smoke Mezcal. At first, the nose is bright and herbaceous. The flavor is very smooth, complicated but well balanced.

It’s super easy to drink and enjoyable straight up on the rocks or great in a margarita cocktail – my favorite cocktail is a clean cocktail from a cocktail bar and restaurant in Soho, NY that is a combination of Desolas, cucumber & lime.

Light and low smoke flavor. A bit too much of the ethanol vodka like flavor.

Good choice for the price point but there are better options.

Less smokey and smoother than many other similar Mezcal. Although it has a fun mysterious name and pretty gold lace on the bottle, it ultimately has a grain alcohol taste.
