I just tried this at a local mezcal bar, I said I was looking for a leathery rich mezcal and I got poured derrumbes Tamaulipas, it was exactly what I was hoping for, slight citrus notes and pepper were also present. Really good!

As a fan of the Clase Azul tequila I was excited to try their mezcal, but it ended up being quite a let down. It has a flat taste – almost as if watered down, there are so many better mezcals out there especially for the price.

Rey Campero is a terrific brand, but their Jabali is the best there is! It’s complex and deep with notes of pepper and mandarins on the front of the mouth and a floral, leathery after taste! Do try!

This Cupreata is one of the few Cupreatas from Oaxaca and one of the best mezcals I’ve ever had. It’s perfectly balanced with sweetness, smokiness and a peppery finish. I bought a bottle and went through it right away. Definitely a sipper. Enjoy!

This was the well mezcal at a bar I went to recently and I was pleasantly surprised by how approachable this Cupreata was. Sweet with touch of mineral. Would have again.

This is my favorite espadin, very smooth and easy to drink. Also light on the smoke and a nice sweetness on the finish. A great choice for new or experienced mezcal drinkers. I Highly Recommend
