About this destilado de agave

El Destilado Madrecuixe is made with maguey Madrecuixe (Agave Karwinskii). Once cooked, the agave is Tahona mashed and then fermented with well water in pine and cypress vats. It’s double distilled in copper.

El Destilado

While some of the El Destilado brand’s agave distillates are sourced from some of the same producers as the 5 Sentidos brand, the El Destilado spirits brand is otherwise not directly related to the El Destilado restaurant in Oaxaca City. The brand was founded by Michael Sager and Marcis Dzelzainis, who own the Sager + Wilde Restaurant and Wine Bar in London.

Seriously good!
Mint, wood, mineral on the nose.
Earth, mineral, light fruit and sweetness on the palate, nice tingling mint finish.
Slightly thick but very clean.
Evolves with every sip.
Lush.
