Batch YR03-18 / Bottle 442/1440
Nose: Light Caramel & Vanilla and a touch of smoke.
Tastes of Sweet Toasted Espadin Agave mixed with a bit of mellowed barrel on the finish. Nice entry for someone interested in trying out an aged Mezcal without breaking the bank. I typically prefer my Mezcal un-aged, but its still fun to explore as I have enjoyed several bottles from the Yuu Baal lineup. Cheers.

Lot#: YR02-20, Bottle#: 1784 / 5100
Nose: Toffee, vanilla and light smoke.

Palate: Saltwater taffy, roasted agave and mesquite. Aftertaste is an awesome mix of sweetness from the barrel aging with some mineral bitterness.

A great espadin reposado.

Great flavor from the barrel, smooth smoky caramel. Great for the price point.

Tastes pretty similar to the joven version, but slightly more mild smokey character and a bit of vanilla and ferulic character from the wood. Decent.

Easy drinker. Great entry mezcal for a new drinker. Smooth vanilla with a lot of flavor from the barrel. Not too complicated though. Good mid-range priced bottle.
