About this mezcal
Mezcal El Samaritano Esamble is produced by Maestro Mezcalero Don Ambrosio Martinez Blas in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca using Magueys Espadin, Madrecuishe, and Tepeztate. The harvested plants are cooked in an underground oven for 4 days, crushed by a horse-drawn tahona, fermented in wooden vats, and double-distilled in copper pots.
El Samaritano Mezcal
Mezcal El Samaritano was founded in 2013 by Maestro Mezcalero Don Ambrosio Martinez Blas in Santiago Matatlan, Oaxaca.The name is a reference to the festivity known as “La Samaritana,” which is celebrated on the fourth Friday of Lent.
