About this destilado de agave
Puntiagudo Tobala from Joel López was produced in Rio Anona, Miahuatlan, Oaxaca. This mezcal was made with Agave potatorum. The agaves were cooked in an underground pit oven, milled by hand with wooden mallets, fermented with naturally occurring yeasts, and distilled in a 350 liter alambique with refrescadera still.
Puntiagudo
The name Puntiagudo refers to the shape of the quiote stalk of wild agaves, and also to the production of distillates with high alcoholic content (puntas). The boar used as a logo summons those who desire and seek something extraordinary in the agave distillates market.

729 reviewsLot JL-TOB-01. Bright, floral, and fruity nose. Aromas of geraniums, coconut oil, hempseed, pine, raspberry, blackberry, and orange. The palate is soft with notes of mineral rock salt, raw honey, oak, coconut, and fresh flowers. Medium body. A little heat on the finish. Overall this is delicate and enjoyable.
