About this mezcal
Sacrificio Anejo is made with 50% maguey Espadin (Agave angustifolia) and 50% maguey Barril (Agave karwinskii). After being double distilled, this mezcal is aged for one year in half toasted French oak barrels. Common notes to look for are wood, vanilla, coffee, toffee, and ripe fruit.
Destilería Sacrificio was conceived in 2011 with the mission of creating premium hand crafted mezcal. Mezcal Sacrificio is harvested and produced in Tlacolula, Oaxaca. According to Sacrificio, their mezcal is best to drink it at 18 Celsius (66 Farenheit), sipped but also as a mixer for drinks, especially with mild citric fruits like lemon, orange and grapefruit.

Haven’t had a tinto Mezcal in a while, now I remember why. Fortunately bought it on sale. Not bad, just that barrel flavor should stick to grains and not plants. Just not a good mix for me.
