Lupe López

Lupe is a sotol and lechuguilla producer from Ciudad Madera, Chihuahua. He learned the craft of sotol from maestro Bienvenido Fernández and after working alongside him for several years Lupe decided to start his own small vinata in the community of El Largo Maderal. He usually makes sotol, lechuguilla, and the sotol-agave ensamble in small batches that range from from 60 to 80 liters.
