My fav of what I’ve had from Mal Bien thus far. I get fresh cut green peppers and actually an underlying nose of berries. Cooked agave, white pepper and an amazing heat that kicks around your moth forever.

Bell peppers and cooked agave on the nose. Cheese and spice on on the backend.

Sweet and floral nose – vegetal notes and underlying tropical fruit. Bright and full mouthfeel, more citrus notes and a sweet heat through the finish.

Lactic cheese funk on the nose – greek yogurt, dill and cucumber. Really velvety body, honeysuckle and a faint spice of pepper. Relatively short but complex finish.

Series 4. Green and herbal and a hint of lactic funk and pepper with an incredibly long and complex finish.

Simple espadin profile, there’s a light roast on the nose and some orange peel and mint. Palate is crisp – anise and some white pepper. Nice finish.

Really bright and green nose, reminds me of Irish Spring. Medium body with a tangy and spicy palate. Great finish.

A favorite. Really green and vegetal nose with a sweet and tangy funk. Dill, anise and mineral notes. Bold flavors, great heat and lovely finish.

Earthy, notes of clay without overpowering. Wet cement, some pine forest. There’s a spicy and vegetal flow that finishes for days.

Nose is bright green and citrus notes. Palate is sweet and fresh cut flowers. There’s an enjoyable, long finish with just the right heat.

Wet earth and moss, I do get a a light funk of cheese and fruit plate. Super clean upon entry, faint sweetness with medium complexity and finish.

Nose is green and vegetal, cucumber water and some juniper berry. Round mouthfeel with subtle notes of pine.

Earthy and organic nose. The palate is buttery with figs and ripe, tropical fruits. Full, round mouthfeel with notes of grilled pineapple. Great heat that takes over and finishes for days. Distilled May 2018.

Sweet citrus nose – kumquats, with a light and pleasant roast. Cooked agave, faint notes of anise and pepper. Easy finish that does linger. Really enjoyable and sessionable. Lot 18.

Hay and grassy nose with some rubber funk… bouncy balls. Palate is earthy, brine notes and a dry, mineral finish. Best used as a mixer, but a very cool one.
