This was medium smokey, extremely sweet first flavor transitioning to a warm aloe, roasted caramel note. My favorite mezcal. 1582/1680. Lot LD mex25.
Inexpensive syrupy with a very sweet mouthfeel. Low alcohol burn, no subtle flavors, light smoke. Lot #0012020.
The mezcal was too astringent. It had a strong burn of alchohol that overwhelmed any subtle flavors.
Okay, but very peppery with a strong alcohol base. Clean and dry.
Salty with a good floral and fruity finish. Low-alcohol smooth with less smoke and more of a round wet mouth feel. I would definitely drink again but not always the best.
Long finish, smooth and wet mouth feel. Late secondary taste of smoke, and end pepper note of alcohol. Perfect to sip neat, great choice.
Weak bodied, acidic, unremarkable first and last flavors. Perhaps good as a mixer.
Amazing smell that’s well developed and smooth. Smells like wood bark. Earthy flavor with smooth smokiness, my favorite joven so far. Bottle iw2769.
Extremely easy to drink no alcohol on the initial taste very smooth. It smells and tastes of bananas Foster. Not smoky, and not vegetal. Not acidic, more alkaline.
