Mezcal Meteoro

Apr 25, 2022

It’s a good, decent Espadín… Smokey, light bodied. A great cocktail Mezcal. $45 in Northern Canada
I’m okay for the price. Prefer Sombra y Montelobos, personally.

400 Conejos Joven

I like it for the price points. $40 in North Canada.
It’s slightly smoky and gets the job done in Mezcal cocktails. No real flavors.
Industrial Mezcal, sure. But still better than a few Industrials I’ve had.

Perhaps the best Mezcal I’ve tasted outside of Mexico!
A little Expensive here oot in Canada, eh. Worth every cent!
On the nose; sourdough, light east coast barbecue, queso fresco and guava?
Like Sour Patch Kids and Cinnamon Toast Crunch made a Mezcal
The flavors? Well… I’m coming back to Oaxaca again! Reminds me of the vibe, the soul of Oaxaca.
Roasted Piña, right off the grind. Wildflower honey. Tropical fruit. Mamey, Guava, Piña, and Cinnamon French Toast.

3.75… i overrated because of availability…
Roasted Piña aromas on the nose like I’m back in Oaxacas palenques. Fuego! Charred pineapples.
Little alcohol, fruity, perfectly paired w/ Hawaian Pizza here in Canada.
Barbacoa, guava, mint. Cherry?
Probably the best Espadín I’ve had in Canada…
I’ll have to taste more Espadín next time I’m in Oaxaca to be sure!

My first impression: ‘3.75 Drank at a little bar in Oaxaca’
Drank it again in the same bar. Mezcalerita in Oaxaca.
Love myself an earthy, complex Karwinskii, picked up notes of Hawaiian Punch? Bakers chocolate and an over burnt Crème Brûlée.
Paired it with the best chapulines and guacamole I’ve had to this day
At least 4.25.
Now me and past me agreed to disagree. Settle for 4.

Typical but delicious Espadin notes. Great price. Pretty excessable in my area if Canada.

Siglo Cero Pox

My bottle said 38% a little watered down, but a great spirit to sip with friends! Id rather stick to Mezcal or Raicilla though

Coyote Sotol Durango

Mar 12, 2022

Had the Coahuila, Durango and Chihuahua at a Speakeasy in Oaxaca. This was my favorite Sotol to date

Coyote Sotol Chihuahua

Mar 12, 2022

I liked the Durango more, but the Coahuila less.

Sotol Onó

Great Sotol for mixing, probably wouldn’t drink pure too often
