3 reviewsBatch AOMA01. This is my favorite mezcal. Candy and heat on the nose. Insane mid palate half-second burst of grape soda, lavender tide pods…cannot fully describe it…haven’t tasted anything like it…. It is a very perfume-y mezcal but it doesn’t have a soapy characteristic at all…and the perfume fades into heat and minerality.

9 reviewsIncredibly special. Started off very floral and perfum-y, then settled and exhibited those saline, candy, citrus characters. Totally agree with skittles and lemon-lime gatorade. One of the most complex and interesting spirits I’ve ever tasted.
2nd review. Remains a favorite. Banana and citrus candy, dirt and flowers

71 reviewsLot AOMA01. I agree with previous reviewers on the flavours but not the ratings. There is a very dominant perfumy lilac flavour that, in my view, gives it an artificial, soapy character. It is also a bit too hot. It’s not bad, but simply not my type of liquor. Three stars with hesitation.

11 reviewsLight body, river water and river stones. Smells like skittles if you have sucked off the flavored part… Much hotter nose than it actually is in your mouth. Some bitter herbs/thyme, yellow gatorade… If it was a little more oily this would be unreal, but still very very good!

663 reviewsIncredible especially when you consider the price. Wet slate from a rocky waterfall. Salt from the sea breeze. Definitely agree with Jonny on the perfume, lilac, and lavender notes. Very complex, spicy, yet singular. Once again, Don Beto shows us he is a master. This mezcal has appeared as Mezcalero Special #1 and Yuu Baal Madrecuishe. Lot AOMA01.

724 reviewsBatch AOMA01. Pairs well with Kashmir by Led Zeppelin. Rich, heavy but bright, rolling aromas, and clean but layered rhythms. Aromas of perfume, lilac, and sweet fruits like peaches, tangerine, and summer breeze. Big and bodacious on the palate. Notes of fresh cotton, clean minerals, purple flowers, sea breeze, and lavender. This is exceptionally clean in all ways.
