Lot 001-ESP/48 48% Aromas out of the bottle are very subdue and hardly noticeable Light alcohol aroma. Flavors follow in suit there’s not much going on there even though for 48% it drinks super smooth but lacks a lot of complexity no fruit mostly sweet light smoke and alcohol. I will say it’s super clean but I’d like a little more character I’d use this more for a mixer myself. It bet it makes a good margarita. This would be a great quality introduction Mezcal for beginners to try. Easy on the pallet but satisfying and mouth coating.
After the bottle aired out some the predominant flavor/aroma is new tire smell, think Big O. There are better Espadin for less. Overpriced for rubber flavors

Lote 34 48.51% Aromas from the bottle are light smoke, roasted papaya, old leather and moderate alcohol. Flavors are mild roasted coconut dark green fermented vegetable matter. Lots of herbs and spices thyme oregano And something in the flavor profile like sandalwood or cider that leaves a long lasting flavor in your mouth. There’s an interesting Brown flavor profile through the whole taste. This one’s most unusual and I like the flavor profile quite a bit. Lot J-01-E-21 50.1% Aromas out of the bottle are very subtle slate, wet dog, watery watered down alcohol and plastic phenolics. Flavors bring on a spritsy Candy like texture to your mouth and fades away rapidly and leaves a sweet aftertaste in your mouth. Really hides the percentage well. No smoke or fruit flavors are really detected in this one. I think once this one airs out some it’ll be a great bottle for the money.
