Chawar Miske Blanco

We really like when they use starter sap from a previous batch to complete fermentation, seems to add some great flavors. The resulting Blanco is easy to sip with a unique bittersweet creamy flavor profile of floral, grassy, herbal and mineral notes. Very well crafted.

Agua del Sol Mexicano – Francisco Garcia León

A solid Mexicano destilado. produced in Miahuatlan, distilled in a copper still with refrescadera as is typical for the region, delivering ripe fruit notes with cooking spices, balanced heat and mild smokiness. Very enjoyable Destilado.

Revelador Espadin

Was thrilled to find this bottle in the US. Lot B1, bottle 61/150. We had discovered Revelador in Oaxaca at their mezcaleria from one our favorite mezcaleros Don Goyo and his son Rodrigo. This release is delicious with balanced citrus and floral notes paired with subtle smoke and mineral notes. This bottling is 47% ABV, perfect for sipping or in a cocktail. A real gem, congrats to the father and son duo. Looking forward to trying their other releases.

Yuu Baal Jabali

From Miahuatlan, 18- year old Jabali pinas are harvested, cooked and hand crushed with wooden mallets. Forward savory-sweet-peppery notes dominate along with brine and dark red fruits. Hard to make and hard to find, but well worth the effort.

Complex and elegant, this delicious handcrafted mezcal shared the essence of Durango with balanced notes of smoke, minerals, anise and rich fruit flavors. Kudos to Asis Cortes for this release.

Rancho Tepúa Bacanora Blanco

Distilled from maguey Pacifica in the town of Aconchi, Sonora, is a great representation of a really well made Bacanora. Abundant fragrant notes of grass and mint with marked smokiness, balanced heat, and a delicious finish.

Hacienda de Chihuahua Sotol Añejo
