Sweet nose of fruit compote and brown sugar. Palate switches gears and hits green and spicy karwinskii notes: bell peppers and peppercorns. Interesting and satisfying finish, has gotten better each time I’ve poured it.
Nose in out of this world. Jalapeno, mint, must and wet earth. Bell peppers, lemongrass and green bananas on the palate. Top Tep for sure.

Freshly opened can of tennis balls, eucalyptus and ginger root. Herbaceous with notes of clover and lemongrass. This one is big and bold and I love it. A standout Tobaziche.

Unmarked 1 liter bottle of 1st edition capon. Savory nose, grilled citrus, tropical fruits, can roast is present. Explosion of bright flavor some herbal notes and a subtle sweetness that moves to a spicy finish, which is moderately complex but hangs on for a long time. Heat is well balanced. Even at 52%, could drink this for days.
Toffee, mint bubblegum, and bright green notes on the nose – which is intoxicating. Green peppers, olives and brine, some baking spices, while retaining a subtle sweetness. Long finish is a bit on the dry side and entirely complex. One of the finest Melate offerings to date!
